Where did the winter go?! At St Weonards we have been busy decorating, refurbishing (watch out for a post on Room 9 soon!) and getting ready for the upcoming season! Suddenly it is March and Easter is just around the corner.
So, what to do in Torbay over Easter? We have put together a few suggestions for Easter Holiday activities.
National Trust site Compton Castle (insert hyperlink https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/compton-castle) opens for the season with the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt. Explore the medieval castle and find the hidden Easter eggs!
For kids it doesn’t get better than Pennywell Farm (insert hyperlink https://www.pennywellfarm.co.uk/ ) Open seven days a week with farm animals, activities and free ride. On Good Friday there is a special Easter Trail and everyone can get involved in bottle feeding lambs and cuddling the Easter bunnies!
Paignton Zoo (insert hyperlink https://www.paigntonzoo.org.uk/plan-your-visit/whats-on/events/detail/top-trumps) are also getting in on the Easter act with their Top Trumps Trail. Pick up a Super Top Trumps card* when you arrive and go on a quest to be the best – compare your scores against the giant cards to see if you can trump them! Don’t forget to check for special offers for entry to the Zoos sister site – Living Coasts (insert hyperlink https://www.livingcoasts.org.uk/) in Torquay.
There is plenty to see and do for everyone over the Easter Holidays in Paignton and all along the English Riviera.
