Wonderful Hosts
This is our first visit this year with Leigh, Vicky and Alice. We usually visit Paignton a couple of times a year and always stay here.A warm welcome always awaits, as does a keen interest in what you have been and what you will be doing whilst you stay.Breakfast was delicious as usual. Leigh’s scrambled eggs are amazing.We were in room 5 which is so spacious. The bed is really comfy.Hoping to get down again later in the year.

We stayed one night and it was great. Friendly hosts and getting offered coffee or tea on checking in is a nice touch. The room was clean and it’s the first place that we have stayed that had hair straighteners. Perfect location to the beach. Totally recommend.

Great value for money, clean and tidy. Parking available for £5 extra a day, breakfast was lovely! Hosts were very easy going and welcoming! Close to our family which was perfect for us, definitely be looking to return.(KRO, Lewis & Em)

Good value for money
warm friendly welcome by hosts, very very clean throughout, great location for all local amenities, and beach front only 2-3 minutes walk away. Breakfast was excellent, lots of options, cooked to perfection. could not find any faults, would highly recommend it. FYI, no lift and all rooms are upstairs.

Wonderful stay
My teenage son and I really enjoyed ourselves in Paignton. We were looked after so well, Vicky and Leigh are kind, super efficient and knowledgeable about the English Riviera. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and the breakfasts plus evening meals were so tasty as well as value for money.We will be back soon.

FANTASTIC STAY!
Had a wonderful one night stay at this lovely hotel in a quiet road not far from the sea front.Very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean bathroom with fluffy towels.Very generous and tasty well cooked breakfast.We felt quite spoilt and will definitely be returning next time we are in Paignton.

Modern rooms, Exceptionally clean.superb breakfasts with the best omlette i have ever tasted. Nothing seems too much trouble for Vicky & leigh. A hot drink offered on arrival which was lovely and very welcomed.Teddy dog loved the dog treats he was given in the room too. Thankyou for a very enjoyable stay.

A Gem in Paignton St Weonards Hotel
Lovely Gem in fab spot for beaches and harbour with great restaurants, bars and stones throw from train station.Was made to feel welcome at St Weonards who served delicious breakfast and dinner, felt well restedin a big comfy bed, would definitely stay again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay
We stayed for 2 nights and it was well worth the price .The bedroom was lovely and clean bed was really comfortable and lovely additions in room ie hot chocolate shower gels and hand wash.Food was lovely with the added addition of being able to order a evening meal if wanted really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again

Me and my wife stayed in many places in Paignton in the past and last week stayed at the st weonards Hotel with our pet dog Chester and found this hotel to be the best yet and will be going back as we were made very welcome there from the minute we got there with a lovely clean room for us and chester

Amazing hotel, highly recommend
This hotel is amazing. We stopped here in June 2021 and are looking forward to going back. To start with the owners are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. As soon as we arrived we were offered a lovely cup of tea before unpacking the car. The rooms are lovely and clean. We had a dog with us and it was a great touch to find a dog towel, treats and a name tag for the collar just in case she got lost they would know when she came from. The beds are so comfy and I loved the fact that with the normal tea and coffee they add hot chocolate and cappuccino options. We were given a front door key so we could come and go as we pleased. The breakfast was amazing, lots of different options and I would highly recommend the full English.The location is great for the beach, restaurants and a local park across the road for the dog. Everything was safe and the hotel were really good with all the covid guidelines which were in place at the time of our visit.I can't wait to come back in the autumn, thank you for such a lovely holiday x x

Great Location
We stayed here for two nights in July. The location was perfect for the shops and seafront. The owner was really friendly and organised a parking spot right outside the front door. There was a great choice for breakfast and we chose the omelettes which were excellent. I accidently left two pairs of shorts in our room and the owner very kindly posted them back to me. Big thanks for that!We would certainly stay here again next time we are in the area.

A fantastic stay!
We came to stay for 4 nights with our 2 labradors.We could not fault anything. The room was clean, we had everything we needed & if we needed anything else we only needed to ask!Breakfast was tasty & a good selection to choose from!The location was fantastic. Bars which were dog friendly at the end of the road, which did some lovely food. The beach is a stone throw away & Fairycove, a dog friendly beach less than a 10 minute walk away!There's a lovely park just round the corner from the hotel which was perfect for talking the dogs out early in the morning!We will definaly be booking again in the future. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Lovely hosts
An excellent stay,lovely room spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed. The breakfasts were freshly cooked. It is idealfor the train station and sea front. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, wouldn't hesitate to say again.

Very comfortable
Both Vicky and Leigh were very welcoming. Our room was comfortable, modern and clean with everything you would expect for a good stay. Very good breakfast with plenty of choices. Our dog was made very welcome and spoilt with lots of treats. Ideally situated for beach and town.

Lovely Stay at St Weonards Hotel
Stayed here from 17 May 2021 so first to stay when re-opened.The accommodation was clean and very Covid secure - same table and condiments every day, compulsory mask wearing unless seated in dining room and anti-bacterial gel available at various spots.Room was good and nice touch with dressing gowns.Breakfast was outstanding with excellent quality ingredients especially the bacon.The owners made us feel very welcome and I would highly recommend this B&B which is also in a great location for the amenities Paignton has to offer

Wonderful weekend in Devon
We had a wonderful weekend in Devon,staying at St Weonards with our 5 month puppy. It was great to be able to bring her and to be welcomed by the hotel. Leigh and Vicky were extremely friendly and helpful both during booking and our stay. The room was comfortable with en-suite and very good value for money. Excellent base for our few days and would highly recommend.

Both hosts were very welcoming and helpful. They welcome dogs and humans too! In a good location to explore Paignton and the surrounding area too. Beach is a 5 min walk away. I would highly recommend St Weonards.

Fantastic place to stay
The hosts are warm, welcoming and friendly they made my stay fantastic. Bed was comfortable with lots of room to move around when in room. Close by to all shops and 2 minute walk Steamtrain station. Thank you for a fantastic 5 day trip.

We enjoyed our stay at hotel , very clean beds really comfy and the breakfast was really good , very good choice as well . The hotel is very central for everything town , shops and seafront. If we go to Paignton again we will definitely stay here . The owners are very thoughtful as well always asking if all ok and if we need anything else. Clean, Safe, Lovely
This was my third stay with Vicky and Leigh - once again a very enjoyable visit. They have COVID rules in place, a hand sanitiser station in the hallway, specific slots for visitors to come and eat in the dining room to avoid contamination etc. I don’t usually eat breakfast but was very pleased to be given the option of a breakfast bag delivered to my room each morning which was amazing.When I visit my friend again I’ll be back!

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and had nothing bad to say! Owners were lovely, breakfast was delicious and room was very clean. I stayed in the single room which was a perfect size for one person! Had measures in place due to COVID which was explained well. Will definitely stay here again!

Great hotel
Firstly we was warmly welcomed and greeted with tea and coffee. Perfectly covid safe, with hand gels and social distancing. Rooms are very clean and tidy. Was a hot week so asked if possible for a fan and they was so helpful and got us one in minutes even tho it’s was late.100% would visit again very understanding and helpful with our dogs.

Beautiful stay
what a wonderful welcome we had at St Weonards. The owners are so friendly and accommodating that we felt comfortable from the offset. Our highlight was the breakfast- not just the quantity but the quality of the food was so fresh, the owner is a talent in the kitchen! It's the little touches that go along way and we will definitely be staying here again. Great location, quiet street, lovely owners, immaculate throughout and nicely decorated, which had a fresh feel (unlike some bnbs which can sometimes look a little rundown).Just a wonderful bnb in all. Lovely stay at St Weonards
Just back from our holiday in Paignton this is our 2nd time staying at St Weonards B&B lovely clean rooms,amazing breakfasts each morning,nothing is to much trouble for Vicky and Leigh,had a lovely chicken dinner on our last night,we felt very safe with the covid precautions that are in place,would recommend to anyone, a lovely family run B&B.

Excellent
Both Vicky and Leigh were so friendly and couldnt do enough for you. One morning we had breakfast brought up to us and the other we went down. Both breakfasts were really lovely and perfect size portions. They couldnt do enough for our 17month old son and told us not to worry when he was poorly and unsettled the second night. The room was extremely comfortable and clean they put a travel cot in for our son and also dog bowls and towels for our dogs. Whilst we only stayed a couple of nights we would definately stay again. With covid being an issue everywhere there was plenty of changes to make you feel safe and everyone was spaced out at breakfast. We are travelling down to Devon again in a few months and will 100% be staying here again, Vicky and Leigh made you feel more like friends staying than guests and were amazing with our son and dogs! Would recommend to anyone to stay here!

Refreshing break
Stayed here for 2 nights with our dog. We were made to feel very welcome our room was comfortable and facilities were good. Breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful. An excellent small hotel near the seafront would definitely recommend.

Lovely stay here this weekend! Very friendly and welcoming, nicely decorated room with new en-suite. Clean and although there wasn’t much space in the room due to having a cot in there, the owners have helped by having space under the beds for storage of bags etc and a shelf at the headboard for clocks/phones on charge and small hanging space too. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Great location for accessing Paignton seafront and to enjoy other parts of the coast too. Breakfast was wonderful both days, hot and freshly prepared. Couldn’t fault our stay! Thank you St Weonards!

We found this little gem on booking.com but went direct and got much better rates. The owners could not do enough to make you feel comfortable, a lovely spacious clean room and some treats for our doggy on arrival. Amazing breakfast the Next morning. Will be back again!

Stayed here for a couple of nights as a family, owners are very welcoming, Hotel lovely and clean and able to maintain social distancing. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Hotel is in a great location for the beach, bars and pier.

Just got back from a lovely 3 night stay at St Weonards Hotel. Vikki and Leigh were the perfect host’s who made us and our dog Bella very welcome. Another fun visit
We loved our second stay with Vicky and Leigh. Clean , well positioned and safe in these challenging times. They have a robust system in place to minimise contact with other guests. Breakfast is the best. One thing we didn’t realise is how many good restaurants are nearby. East meets West has to be the best curry house we have ever visited. Totally different from any other. TJ’s at the harbour was smashing too. Sad to be home but wonderful memories.

Fantastic stay
We felt very welcomed and really enjoyed our stay at St. Weonards hotel, we had a nice room with a really comfortable bed. There was also plenty of space for our dog, even tho I forget to book him in, however this wasn’t a problem as he was welcomed in.Hotel is in a good location, looks so and see.

A great place to stay
Second time I have stayed at St Weonards and it was as good as the first. Friendly, efficient hosts who make you feel very welcome. Comfortable room (I can only comment on the single room I've used twice) and a good breakfast. Great value for the price paid for the stay. Vicky and Leigh must also be complimented for the comprehensive COVID-19 cleaning and operational regime, implemented to keep their customers safe. It was thorough and reassuring, but not overbearing. Thanks for another very pleasant stay.

LOVELY ??
Have stayed here 3 times now and every stay lovely , no complaints at all . Always made to feel welcome. Breakfast is very nice , lots to choose from , little extras like the little marmite sachets left in a gift bag on our last day made my sons day ???? . Rooms are very clean and have been updated and improved since my last stay last year and it looks lovely . Highly recommend to anyone and we will definitely be back next year . Thank you

We stayed Tuesday to Thursday for my partners 60th Birthday it was lovely. The rooms were very cleaand had everything you needed in them Breakfast was great and a good choice. I would highly recommend a visit and will definatly stay again.

The owners are very hospitable, friendly people. The accomodation location was central to our needs, tidy and clean. Breakfast was delicious, very tasty and well presented. The B&B is situated at the end of a road hosting two pubs, the noise at night due to footfall was rather noisy, especially at closure.

We stayed here on New Year’s Eve with our young daughters. It felt very homely from the minute we walked in. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable, even the kids bunk beds were very sturdy and larger than usual bunk beds. The breakfast was amazing and nothing was to much trouble. The location is perfect, you can walk everywhere central in Paignton. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again :-)

Perfect beach side accommodation
St. Weonards is a gem in the heart of Paignton. As a family of four with a dog, finding comfortable places to stay with enough space for us all is difficult, but St. Weonards is perfect. A warm greeting on arrival, it was lovely to see a welcome package for the dog. The family room was clean and spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast has to be the star of the show, delicious and hearty... Even the kids polished off their full English! They even catered for our gluten and dairy free requirements. And just a short walk from the sea front, there's plenty of opportunity to walk off breakfast and enjoy the seaside. We will definitely be back!

Highly recommended!!!
This really is a great B&B from the moment you arrive to a warm friendly welcome with the offer of some tea and local information. The rooms are spotless and comfortable with a great shower. The breakfast is delicious, we had a full english, also available cereals, fruit, yogurts with as much tea/coffee/juice and toast you could eat or drink. We shall be back soon, it's also very convenient for the town and beach.

Room shaby.but bed and towels clean was disapointed to find my suitcase that i had put on top of wardrobe covered in dust when i retrived it obviously top of wardrobe had not been dusted for some time .but breakfast was very good and host very nice

We would like to apologies for the dust on your suitcase it is part of our cleaning routine to wipe these surfaces but due to the building work next door we are fighting an on-going battle! We are disappointed that you felt the room was shabby but are already planning some work in that room over the winter where we will be replacing the wardrobe and redecorating (as we do each year). Without doubt this has been the best place I've stayed at in Paignton & I've been coming here for plenty of years.The room was spotless, clean & very comfy, in fact the whole place was in tip top condition.Breakfast & evening meals were lovely & great value.Vicky & Leigh couldn't do enough to make my stay as enjoyable as possible, I will be back !

Overnight stay on way home
We stayed here for one night as a stop off on our way home from Cornwall. This is an excellent BnB that ticks all of the boxes. Perfect location for everything, very friendly hosts how really looked after us. Our kids are 6 and 7 and we had a family room at the top that was very clean and comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate and recommending this place to people. Rates were reasonable given the location and facilities and I reccommend book direct and not through any sites that may have helped you find it.

2nd time were have stayed and again recieved a warm welcome and a cuppa.Recently redecorated so everything is looking good.The breakfast cooked to order is great, and nothing seems too much

Paignton mee
I was very happy with my stay at St Weonards Hotel in Paignton in Devon over the last week. The hotel was clean, comfortable and well laid out. My room was single but very neat with a small wash basin for your teeth and a quick brush up, I also had access to my own bathroom across the hall. The room its self-benefited from a large airy window, plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe, Tea and Coffee making facilities, TV, clock radio and free Wifi, so all the base’s covered! The hosts were charming and more than helpful, the cooked breakfast set you up for well into the afternoon. The hotel is a stone’s throw from the beach and the rail station, with the local bus station just a hundred yards further away. Torquay is a gentle two-mile walk or ten-minute bus ride. All in all, this little niche hotel ticks all the right boxes for a cheap short stay, if you want a five star hotel, then you have to pay for it, but that's not what seaside breaks and holidays are all about!This little hotel tucked away with all the others on a side street is as anonymous as any other, but only after you stay there do you realise what a little gem it really is, I will be directing my friends and famiy there and I hope to go back there again later in the year.Thank you, St Weonards hotel, for a pleasant and happy stay, or like a big man in a movie whose name escapes me, once said, ‘’I’ll be back’’!

Hotel was lovely as were the owners who couldn’t do enoughOnly reason I rated 4 was due to other noisy guests who proceeded to make as much noise as possible slamming the doors as going out and someone who had woken me up at 6am on Sunday and no fault of the owners just annoying others weren’t so considerate of other guest staying there! Excellent service and lovely owners
We arrived after a 7 hour journey to a welcomed coffee, brief introduction shown to our room, it was lovely, clean and high standard decor, newly fitted bathroom with huge shower and fresh soft towels.The location is great as it’s very central, but we were no disturb by any music from local pubs, we had bunks and a double which were very comfy, nice quilt and pillows, we took our small dog, who was made very welcome!!!Arriving for breakfast, setting was lovely in a bright airy room looking out to lovely sunshine, the menu certainly catered for all, we opted for full English,!which was delicious and served hot, my daughter had pancakes and maple syrup, would certainly return, Vicky and kee the owners were perfect t hosts and nothing was too much trouble!!!!

Very friendly and welcoming b & b
On arrival the hosts were very friendly, informative and made sure we had everything we could possibly need for a very comfortable stay.Breakfast was the best we've ever had, and everything was cooked fresh.My 10 year old daughter said you made the best sausage sandwich for breakfast she's ever eaten. Made to feel very welcome and couldn't do enough for us.Would definitely recommend this B and B and we will definitely be booking again in future.Thank you so much for making our Easter stay so comfortable and enjoyable

Wonderful stay
We stayed here for two nights and were made very welcome, the owners are lovely and really made a fuss of our 5 year old little boys, he was very comfortable around them which is very rare. the breakfast was really nice and the room was nice and clean, we will most certainly return. The parking is a bit of a walk away and is on street parking which made us a little nervous but everything was fine when we returned to it. big thumbs up from us.

A Great time and a great stay
My partner and 3 children stayed at the hotel. We were made more than welcome. It was a home from home. We did lots on the holiday but it was all outshone by the fact that they bout the girls bracelets as leaving presents. Great place great stay. I would recommend this place to anyone

St Weonards hotel review
My daughters and I had a lovely few days staying at St Weonards hotel, the room had everything we needed, breakfast was lovely and staff was friendly and welcoming. My daughters aged 7 & 5 did not want to leave.

Excellent stay at st weonards
We had a very enjoyable stay. Room basis but it had anything we needed. Julie was very friendly, welcoming and helpful we were unable to park out the front so julie told us where to park for free by the harbour which was a very pleasant walk The hotel is situated close to beach. Shops and restaurant so perfect location. The breakfast was fantastic. We will be booking to come back next year but will book directly with julie.

Brilliant place to stay
Really enjoyed our stay at St Weonards Hotel. First thing you notice is the genuine warmth of Keiran and Julie. Keiran carried cases up the stairs and Julie provided the most amazing break fast. Nothing was too much trouble, real home from home. Room clean, fresh and comfortable. Biscuits on arrival! A real hit with my son. Tea, coffee etc replenished daily. Close to train station and facilities which as a non driver was a real bonus. Really enjoyed our stay and have already booked to go back in a few weeks. Had a great stay here.Very close to shops, pubs & restaurants, beach with lots of things for kids to do to keep them busy.Funfair and big recreation next to beach only couple minutes walk away.Julie and Kieran were both very warm and welcoming.Shame wifi not available on top floor so had to go down to breakfast room for wifi.The breakfast was great and plentiful too.

Easter Break
Last weekend enjoyed a comfortable break at The St Weonards Hotel. The family running the hotel were very helpful and kind. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was made to your liking, in a good central location in Paighnton. Would highly recommend the hotel to every one. Look forward to returning there when ever possible. The family provided Easter eggs that morning to all the guest, a very kind gift.

2 night stay
What a lovely hotel,we were greated with a warm welcome, and a greatful pot of tea after our 3 hr journey! We stayed in rm 9. This is a good sized double with an on suite.the breakfast was freshly cooked each morning. Which was a hearty portion, LOVELY!!! We both enjoyed our stay in a welcome home from home. We will be returning again! One of the best!

Lovely holiday would recommend
My husband and I enjoyed a 7 night stay here with our 4 year old and 13 year old from August 16th 2015.It is a budget b and b which we were expecting, keeran and julie are lovely and friendly and helpful.The location is great very central , close to town and beach and has free onsite parking which saves a fortune!Nice breakfast, nice hot shower, comfy beds.Would book again if we ever go to paignton again.

Keeran and Julie were the perfect hosts. Nothing too much trouble, a sizeable double room, hotel close to all amenities and a free parking space. Lovely full english breakfast, if in Paignton we recomend a stay here.

Perfect Hospitality
Julie and Keeran at St Weonards Hotel were the perfect hosts. We were made very welcome from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The room was lovely, clean, spacious and had everything in it we needed. Breakfast was wonderful and Julie was more than happy to accomodate my boys with whatever they wanted for breakfast. We were given lots of helful tips on local things to do in this beautiful area and places to eat. I couldn't recommend St Weonards enough and we will definately be visiting again.

We stayed for 3 nights in December.Very comfortable, very friendly service.Just a couple of minutes walk to the train & bus station, Weatherspoons pub, cinema, beach etc. Fantastic bus service to all Torbay area so lots to do, even if it's raining!

Great b & b for families on a budget. Only 100 yards from Paignton seafront. Great breakfast! Julie is so nice, welcoming and helpful. Rooms comfortable and clean. Great to have a parking space outside most of the time. Can come and go as you please. Close shops too.Ideal location. Only annoyance is the seagulls' noise but you get used to it. What a great place for kids Paignton is! Lovely sandy beach and fun on pier. So much to do for kids, in the area. Steam trains, waterpark not too far, plenty of beaches to choose from. Exeter shops are great! Hope to come again.

St Weonards break
Have just arrived home after a long weekend break in Paignton. We stayed at St Weonards Hotel, a small but friendly place 2 minutes from both the beach and town. Julie and Keeran proved to be very friendly hosts, and the breakfasts were excellent. Would stay again.
